Ingredients

  • 2 cups rice
  • 1 cup mushrooms sliced
  • 1 cup cheese grated
  • 4 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  • Prepare: Rinse the rice under cold water until the water runs clear, then drain.
  • Cook rice: In a saucepan, bring water to a boil, then add the rice and simmer until tender and water is absorbed.
  • Cook mushrooms: While rice is cooking, heat olive oil in a frying pan. Add mushrooms and cook until browned and tender.
  • Combine: Once rice is cooked, incorporate the sauteed mushrooms and grated cheese. Stir well until cheese is melted and mixture is well combined.
  • Season: Finally, season with salt and black pepper to taste. Mix well and remove from heat.
