- 1 pound ground beef preferably lean
- 4 cups broccoli florets fresh or frozen
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce or tamari for gluten-free option
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger freshly grated
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes optional, for heat

Prepare Ingredients: Wash and cut the broccoli into florets. Mince the garlic and grate the ginger.
Cook Beef: Heat the sesame oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef, breaking it apart with a wooden spoon. Cook until browned and no longer pink.
Add Aromatics: Add the minced garlic, grated ginger, and red pepper flakes to the skillet. Stir and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.
Add Broccoli: Add the broccoli florets and soy sauce to the skillet. Stir to combine and cover the skillet. Let it cook for about 5-7 minutes until the broccoli is tender.
