1 Mixing bowl
1 Whisk
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup milk
- 1 unit egg beaten
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter melted
- 1/2 cup dulce de leche for topping
- as needed butter for greasing the skillet
Mix dry ingredients: In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
Combine wet ingredients: In another bowl, whisk together the milk, beaten egg, and melted butter.
Mix batter: Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined. Do not overmix.
Cook pancakes: Heat a lightly greased non-stick skillet over medium heat. Pour 1/4 cup of batter for each pancake. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook until golden brown on the other side.
Serve: Serve the pancakes warm, topped with a generous amount of dulce de leche.
