Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 unit egg beaten
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter melted
  • 1/2 cup dulce de leche for topping
  • as needed butter for greasing the skillet

Instructions

  • Mix dry ingredients: In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.

  • Combine wet ingredients: In another bowl, whisk together the milk, beaten egg, and melted butter.

  • Mix batter: Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined. Do not overmix.

  • Cook pancakes: Heat a lightly greased non-stick skillet over medium heat. Pour 1/4 cup of batter for each pancake. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook until golden brown on the other side.
