- olive oil to taste
- 1 pound chicken breast thinly sliced
- 1 large onion sliced
- 1 large green bell pepper sliced
- 8 slices provolone cheese
- 4 pieces hoagie rolls halved
- to taste salt and pepper
Prep vegetables: Slice onions and green bell peppers on a cutting board.
Cook chicken: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook sliced chicken until browned, season with salt and pepper.
Add veggies: Add the sliced onions and bell peppers to the skillet with chicken. Cook until vegetables are tender.
Assemble sandwiches: Place slices of provolone cheese on the halved hoagie rolls and top with the chicken and vegetable mixture.
Melt cheese: Broil the assembled sandwiches in the oven until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Serve: Serve the Chicken Philly Melts hot.
