Ingredients

  • 1 cup Balsamic vinegar
  • 1/2 cup Ketchup
  • 1/4 cup Brown sugar
  • 1 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp Mustard powder
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Black pepper

Instructions

  • Combine Liquids: In a medium saucepan, combine the 1 cup Balsamic vinegar, 1/2 cup Ketchup, and 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce. Stir these liquids together until fully mixed.

  • Add Solids: Add 1/4 cup Brown sugar, minced 1 cloves Garlic, 1 tsp Mustard powder, 1/2 tsp Salt, and 1/4 tsp Black pepper to the saucepan. Whisk all ingredients together until the brown sugar is completely dissolved.

  • Simmer: Place the saucepan on the stove over medium heat. Bring the mixture to a simmer, then reduce the heat to low and let it simmer gently for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Cool and Store: Remove the saucepan from the heat and let the BBQ sauce cool to room temperature. Once cooled, transfer the sauce to a glass jar or bottle for storage.
